Paul Jason Klein, the 36-year-old lead singer of indie pop band LANY and former boyfriend of Dua Lipa, was recently spotted walking through Sydney’s CBD.
On Wednesday, November 5, Klein visited the popular Paramount Coffee Project as part of his Australian tour, with rescheduled sold-out shows.
Keeping a low profile, the singer dressed casually in a white T-shirt emblazoned with "Orleans Saints" across the front. He layered a quilted burgundy sweater over his shoulders for a touch of street style. His faded jeans featured rugged patches, giving them a worn-in look, while black sneakers and dark sunglasses completed his laid-back outfit.
Klein’s return to the public eye comes after a life-changing accident on June 6, 2024, when he was struck by a car while riding his Vespa home from the gym. Reflecting on the incident after his recovery, Klein recalled, “I don’t really remember anything after the collision... I woke up on a stretcher being put into an ambulance.”
Despite the trauma, he expressed immense gratitude, saying, “I’ve cried a lot of thankful and happy tears since the accident.” Although the accident affected his mobility, doctors assured him of a full recovery.
Klein and Lipa, who began dating in 2017, ended their relationship in 2018 after five months.
