A plane crash occurred at Toronto Pearson International Airport, with local police confirming the incident and CBC television reporting that the aircraft flipped over while landing.  

According to CBC and CP24, eight people sustained injuries in the accident.  

Toronto Pearson Airport acknowledged the incident involving a Delta Air Lines flight arriving from Minneapolis and confirmed that emergency teams were responding.  

In a statement on X, the airport assured that all passengers and crew had been accounted for.  

Delta Air Lines has yet to issue an official response regarding the incident.  

"There is a plane crash. However, we do not know the circumstances surrounding it at this point," said Constable Sarah Patten of the Peel Regional Police in Ontario.  

She added, "It is my understanding that most of the passengers are out and unharmed, but we are still working to confirm, and the investigation is ongoing."
