Jamie Lee Curtis has expressed admiration for Pamela Anderson's boldness and individuality. Speaking at the Toronto International Film Festival, Curtis praised Anderson as "a transcendent creature" with intelligence, depth, and beauty.
Curtis applauded Anderson for navigating the complexities of show business on her own terms, saying, "I love the way she is walking through the B.S. of show business and saying, ‘I do not need to play your game,’ and I respect her for it so deeply."
In their upcoming film *The Last Showgirl*, Anderson, 57, portrays a Las Vegas showgirl who seeks to rebuild her life and career after her show ends. Curtis plays her best friend, Annette. Curtis noted that her involvement in the film was largely due to Anderson's participation.
Curtis also mentioned having seen Anderson’s documentary, *Pamela, a Love Story*. "She's been very honest about how society has treated her," Curtis said, expressing hope that the film will lead to a greater appreciation of Anderson's talents.
