"Gold Prices Drop Sharply in Pakistan"

KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a notable decline on Saturday, as reported by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The price of gold per tola decreased by Rs2,000, bringing it down to Rs261,500. The 10-gram gold price also fell by Rs1,714, now at Rs224,194.
In contrast, silver prices remained unchanged at Rs2,950 per tola.
Internationally, spot gold dropped 0.8% to $2,495.86 per ounce, following its recent peak on August 20. U.S. gold futures also fell 0.7% to $2,524.60.
Spot silver declined 3.1% to $27.92, while platinum fell 0.4% to $920.55 and palladium dropped 3.1% to $913.00.
