Andy Lee has shared some updates about his wedding plans with fiancée Rebecca Harding.
On Tuesday, during an appearance on KIIS FM's *The Kyle and Jackie O Show*, the comedian revealed that he and Rebecca won’t be tying the knot anytime soon.
He explained that their focus is currently on renovating their $8.5 million historic Melbourne mansion, which has left little time for wedding planning.
“We haven’t really talked about the wedding,” the 43-year-old said. “We tried to start planning, but the discussion often shifts between having a big party with everyone and then realizing the cost and the house renovations. So, we’re thinking maybe we’ll just have a small, private ceremony. But that won’t be happening anytime soon.”
Andy also admitted that he was initially hesitant about marriage. “I wasn’t keen on getting married,” he said. “I didn’t think it was something I needed to do. It seemed like a waste of money, and to be honest, I’m a bit of a wedding Grinch.”
However, he noted that the experience of getting engaged has been unexpectedly positive. “Even just being engaged has made me feel more like a team. It’s been a lovely surprise,” he added.
Andy and Rebecca announced their engagement on May 1, after being together for ten years.
