Reports suggest that the “disgraced” Prince remains determined to stay at Royal Lodge, even though Charles has ended his financial support.
Royal expert Hugo Vickers told *The Sun* that, with Andrew's financial assistance cut off, King Charles now has more control over his brother’s living arrangements. Vickers noted that Charles likely isn’t "being vindictive to his brother" by asking him to leave. However, if Andrew "proves to be obstinate and refuses to go, then I imagine things will get worse."
“There’s nothing to stop the King from actually ordering him to leave Royal Lodge,” Vickers added.
He further commented that "the ideal situation would, of course, be that Andrew would voluntarily downsize and move elsewhere."
