Britney Spears' $5M child support to husband comes to end
1. The pop star has planned to mark her son Jayden's milestone with something special
Britney Spears is set to celebrate her youngest son Jayden James' 18th birthday on September 12 with a lavish gift. However, the occasion will not be as joyous for her ex-husband, Kevin Federline.
As Jayden reaches this milestone, the child support payments Britney has been making to Federline for their two children, Sean Preston and Jayden, will come to an end. Over the past 17 years, Britney has paid more than $5 million in support.
A source close to Britney told the Daily Mail, "The amount of money Britney has provided Kevin for the boys is substantial enough to support an entire family, which is what she believes he has done."
The report also noted that Federline, a former backup dancer who infrequently works as a DJ, may face difficulties maintaining his current lifestyle. "Britney is hearing that he is not very pleased with the situation," the source said, adding, "Meanwhile, Britney is thriving."
On a brighter note, Britney's recent deal with Universal Pictures to adapt her memoir, *The Woman in Me*, into a film has sparked new creative energy. "This project has given her a fresh perspective. She’s even considering making new music for the soundtrack, though that’s still in the early stages," the source shared.
