Bahria Town Karachi celebrates UAE Independence Day with grand festivities

KARACHI: Bahria Town Karachi celebrated the United Arab Emirates' 53rd Independence Day on Sunday with a spectacular dancing fountain show, honoring the strong and enduring friendship between the UAE and Pakistan.
The four-day festivities, held from November 29 to December 2, 2024, featured prominent displays of Pakistan and UAE flags at the entrance and congratulatory messages projected on the Jinnah Avenue building, creating a festive atmosphere throughout the evenings.
The main attraction was the dazzling fountain show on Sunday, attended by distinguished Consul Generals and dignitaries from the UAE, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia. The event began with the hoisting of both nations' flags and the playing of their national anthems. The audience enjoyed an enchanting fountain display set to soulful Emirati music. The evening culminated in a cake-cutting ceremony and a grand dinner for the esteemed guests.
The Consul Generals commended Bahria Town for its contributions to world-class urban planning and infrastructure in Pakistan and praised its efforts in fostering positive international relations.
