'Young Sheldon' star Montana Jordan opens up about fatherhood

Montana Jordan, star of *Young Sheldon*, recently shared his experiences with fatherhood during the CBS Hosts Sit-Down Comedy Event in Los Angeles.

Jordan, who welcomed his baby girl, Emma Rae Jordan, with girlfriend Jenna Weeks in May, expressed how much he’s enjoying being a father. The 21-year-old actor said, “It’s been amazing. There’s nothing better. She’s 4 months old now, and although I’ve always loved being around kids—having two young nieces—I can return them. With my daughter, I can’t do that. I’m just kidding, of course. But honestly, being a dad is the best thing ever.”

Reflecting on what fatherhood has taught him, Jordan added, “It’s taught me to be patient. To be patient.”

Montana first announced Emma Rae’s birth in an Instagram post on May 21, sharing a photo of himself holding his daughter, who was wrapped in a pink and white blanket with a matching pink satin bow. In the caption, he wrote, “5/21/2024 God has blessed me with a beautiful baby girl. Emma Rae Jordan, Momma and Daddy love you. Forever and always.”

Since Emma Rae’s arrival, Jordan has been sharing her milestones on social media, including moments from the set of his upcoming *Young Sheldon* spinoff, *Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage*.
