Prince Harry's security concerns finally spark police reaction
1. Prince Harry’s security woes against the police and government have just been met with a reaction by those working in the loop
Prince Harry’s security concerns have been dismissed by a former police officer who served Queen Elizabeth II.
Dick Griffin, who worked with the Royal Family, voiced his opinions during an interview with photographer Arthur Edwards on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive podcast. Griffin stated, “If he were returning to fully engage in Royal duties, he would automatically receive protection. The government isn’t naive about this.”
He added, “Every visit to this country is reviewed, and threat assessments are made. If it’s determined that someone needs protection—whether it’s you or Harry—they’ll get it.”
Griffin further suggested that Harry's concerns might be an excuse, saying, “If he’s so worried about security, he could have stayed with his father, King Charles, who has the best security available.”
Arthur Edwards agreed, noting, “Harry needs to see things for what they are. He’s no longer welcome here and would need to make a significant gesture of contrition to King Charles to be readmitted.”
Edwards added that there’s a fear of any conversations with Harry being leaked, stating, “They’re not prepared to risk having their discussions appear in the next TV program.”
