Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, expressed strong disapproval regarding security measures at the Apple Event, stating it as an "unacceptable security violation." He emphasized that visitors would be required to check their Apple devices at the door, where they would be stored in a Faraday cage to prevent security breaches.

Apple's announcement of AI features and a partnership with OpenAI to integrate ChatGPT technology into its devices prompted Musk's criticism. He questioned Apple's decision to rely on OpenAI for AI technology while claiming to prioritize user privacy and security.

Ben Bajarin, CEO of Creative Strategies, commented on the situation, stating that it was unlikely for others to follow Musk's lead. He noted that Apple aims to educate users about the security of private cloud services compared to data stored on devices.

Meanwhile, Musk's lawsuit against OpenAI and its CEO, Sam Altman, reflects his concerns about the direction of the organization and its departure from its original mission to develop AI for the benefit of humanity. Musk has also launched his own startup, xAI, to challenge OpenAI and develop an alternative to ChatGPT. xAI was recently valued at $24 billion after raising $6 billion in series B funding.
