iOS 18: Apple reveals major updates coming to iPhone

Apple made several significant announcements during its Worldwide Developers Conference, including the introduction of iOS 18 and various new features and improvements for iPhone, iPad, and Mac products.
One of the key highlights is the upgraded version of Siri, as well as access to OpenAI's GPT-4o, enhancing the capabilities of Apple's devices in terms of artificial intelligence and natural language processing.
iOS 18 brings several customization options for iPhone users, such as easier app rearrangement on the home screen and the ability to change app colors. Additionally, a new feature called Lock An App requires Face ID authentication to access specific apps, enhancing security.
Users will also benefit from new messaging features, including the ability to schedule text messages, send animated words and emojis, and the integration of Rich Communication Services (RCS) in the Messages app, enabling encrypted text and media sharing with Android users.
Furthermore, iOS 18 introduces Apple Intelligence, a platform designed to summarize text, generate original images, and retrieve relevant data quickly.
iPad users will enjoy the addition of a built-in calculator and a screen-sharing feature in SharePlay, allowing remote control of another person's iPad. The update also includes redesigned Settings and Photos apps for a more streamlined user experience across Apple's devices.
