Taylor Swift expressed her gratitude to her footballer boyfriend, Travis Kelce, for making her "Fortnight" shoots truly magical.
At the MTV Video Music Awards on Wednesday night, Swift, 34, took home the award for Best Collaboration for "Fortnight," among her 12 total nominations.
Holding her award, Swift fondly remembered, “I would always hear someone cheering from across the studio during our shoots.” She added, “That one person was my boyfriend, Travis. Everything he touches turns into happiness, fun, and magic, and I want to thank him for bringing that to our shoot. I’ll always cherish that.”
Swift was nominated for Song of the Year, Video of the Year, Best Direction, Best Collaboration, Best Editing, Best Cinematography, Best Visual Effects, Best Art Direction, and Song of the Summer. Eight of these nominations were for her track "Fortnight" from her album *The Tortured Poets Department*, featuring Post Malone.
At the ceremony, Swift dazzled in a sparkling multicolored minidress by Monse, adorned with a beaded UFO graphic and black leather straps, which appeared to reference her hit “Down Bad” from her recent album.
She initially walked the red carpet in a yellow and black plaid bustier and skirt from Dior’s 2025 resort collection. Swift also sported velvet shorts, strappy leather opera gloves, a checkered choker, thigh-high leather boots, and 30-carat yellow diamond earrings from Lorraine Schwartz.
Unfortunately, Kelce couldn’t attend the event due to prior work commitments. “Travis had to be back in Kansas City by Tuesday for practice,” a source told Page Six. Kelce and Swift have been dating since last summer.
