Selena Gomez has offered a rare glimpse into her close friendship with pop star Taylor Swift.
In a recent *Vanity Fair* cover story published on Monday, September 9, the 32-year-old singer and actress opened up about her longtime bond with Swift.
The *Only Murders in the Building* star shared that she and the *Lover* singer often "compare notes" on the reality show *Vanderpump Rules*.
Gomez mentioned that while she occasionally seeks Swift's advice on friendship and music, their conversations mostly consist of lighthearted gossip, like many other friends. "She’s really like a big sister to me," Gomez said of Swift.
A favorite topic of theirs is whatever drama is unfolding in the latest season of *Vanderpump Rules*. "I’m on *The Valley* now," Gomez noted, referring to the show.
"I’ve watched every episode of *Vanderpump*, so I don’t care if it’s bad!" she added with a laugh.
Gomez also revealed that, at the moment, she has no plans to release new music. "I don’t know if I’m ready, you know? It’s a vulnerable space. Acting has always been my first love. Music is just a hobby that spiraled out of control," the *Fetish* singer explained.
