Lady Gaga breaks free of disease that left her 'head to toe in pain'
1. Lady Gaga has struggled with fibromyalgia since 2017
Lady Gaga recently opened up about how far she’s come in her battle with fibromyalgia.
In 2018, the *Born This Way* singer had to postpone her European tour due to the debilitating effects of her condition. As her health worsened, the global superstar had no choice but to delay her performances.
However, in a recent interview with *Vogue*, Gaga reflected on her remarkable health improvement during her *Chromatica Ball* tour. "When I went on the *Chromatica Ball* tour in 2022, that was the first time I’ve performed without pain," she said, proudly adding that she "did it pain-free!"
Gaga’s struggles with fibromyalgia were chronicled in her documentary, *Gaga: Five Foot Two*, which details her decade-long battle with the condition. The 38-year-old pop icon was diagnosed after breaking her hip during a performance, with her symptoms varying in severity.
In a previous conversation with Oprah, the *Bad Romance* singer shared that fibromyalgia leaves her "in pain from head to toe," and she even expressed concerns about whether she would ever be able to conceive.
