Sarah Ferguson stays loyal to ‘disgraced' Prince Andrew despite Royal pressure

Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, remains a staunch supporter of her ex-husband Prince Andrew amidst his ongoing dispute with King Charles over the Royal Lodge. Despite the tension, a source close to Ferguson told the Daily Beast that she continues to back Charles while being "fiercely loyal" to Andrew, refusing to urge him to vacate the 30-room estate. 

The source emphasized that Ferguson's loyalty to her family remains unwavering and that she has always been careful not to "rock the boat." They highlighted her gratitude for being reintegrated into the royal fold by the late Queen and appreciated that this inclusion persists under King Charles. However, this gratitude does not equate to abandoning her family.

A friend of Andrew's noted that the Royal Lodge holds significant sentimental value for him, being one of the few stable elements in his life. The friend dismissed claims of Andrew's financial troubles, asserting that he has substantial support from friends and various business interests, ensuring the estate remains well-maintained. The notion of Andrew relinquishing the property, along with his children's inheritance, was deemed "absurd" by the friend.
