Priyanka Chopra recently reflected on her remarkable career while being honored at the Red Sea Film Festival.
Accompanied by her husband, Nick Jonas, The White Tiger star received a prestigious award during the event held in Jeddah.
Marking the special occasion, Priyanka delivered a powerful and heartfelt speech, acknowledging the privileges she's enjoyed throughout her artistic journey.
During her address, Priyanka expressed deep gratitude toward her family, including her late father, Ashok Chopra, and her husband, Nick Jonas.
On Thursday, December 12, she warmly said, "Thank you so much, Sarah Jessica. You are such an icon to so many of us. Hearing those kind words about me and my work over the years truly meant a lot to me."
Reflecting on the beginnings of her career, the Citadel actress recalled starting out in Hindi and Telugu cinema, emphasizing the incredible progress made since then.
She shared, “When I began working at 18 years old, I came from an industry producing Hindi and Telugu films, which were considered non-English. I remember being told that films with subtitles or in non-English languages don’t travel. Yet, here we are today.”
Priyanka also took the opportunity to praise the Red Sea International Film Festival for its role in supporting emerging filmmakers, expressing excitement about the new talent being discovered.
