1. National Assembly Secretariat issues notification of vacant seat after resignation of Mohan Manjiani
ISLAMABAD: The Speaker of the National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, has officially accepted the resignation of Mohan Manjiani, a minority member of the National Assembly representing MQM-Pakistan.
Following this development, the National Assembly Secretariat issued a notification declaring the seat vacant. According to the notification, “Mr. Mohan Manjiani, MNA, has submitted his resignation from the reserved seat for Non-Muslims under Clause (1) of Article 64 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Consequently, his seat has been vacated effective from December 31, 2024.”
