1. Appointment of Amir Hayat is effective until appointment of permanent CEO
ISLAMABAD: Air Vice Marshal Muhammad Amir Hayat has been appointed as the Acting CEO of PIA Corporation Limited.
The appointment, approved by the PIA Board of Directors in its meeting on December 12, will remain effective until a permanent CEO is appointed. Amir Hayat has previously served as CEO of PIA.
In other administrative changes, several Grade-18 officers of the Pakistan Administrative Service have been transferred and posted as Community Welfare Attachés in Pakistani embassies abroad on three-year deputations:
- Ms. Sonia Sadaf, currently posted in Punjab, has been transferred to the Pakistani Embassy in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
- Ms. Zahra Dastgir, currently posted in Sindh, has been transferred to the Pakistani Embassy in Tokyo, Japan.
- Ms. Janat Hussain Nikokara, currently posted in Punjab, has been transferred to the Pakistani Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
