Hot and dry weather persisted in Lahore and most parts of Punjab on Monday, with similar conditions expected to continue on Tuesday and Wednesday, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD). Continental air prevails over most regions of the country.

- **Tuesday and Following Days:** Lahore and most districts of Punjab will experience hot and dry weather, with central and southern districts expecting extremely hot conditions accompanied by gusty/dust-raising winds in the afternoon. Partly cloudy weather is likely in Murree and Galyat.

**Temperature Projections:**
- **Lahore:** Maximum temperatures are forecasted to range between 41-43°C on Tuesday and 43-45°C on Wednesday.

**Recent Weather Conditions:**
- **Last 24 Hours:** Hot and dry weather prevailed in most districts of Punjab, with central and southern districts experiencing gusty/dust-raising winds.
- **Maximum Temperatures:** Bhakar recorded the highest temperature in the province at 47°C, followed by Bahawalnagar, Gujranwala, and Noorpur Thal at 45°C.
- **In Lahore:** The maximum temperature was recorded at 42°C, with an evening relative humidity of 17%. Despite the heat, many people were seen seeking relief by bathing in the Lahore canal, including women and children.
