The Meteorological Department has predicted rainfall across several regions of Pakistan during the Eid ul Adha holidays, starting from June 18th, as moist currents from the Arabian Sea are anticipated to move into the country.
Eid ul Adha, also known as the Feast of the Sacrifice, is being celebrated in Pakistan from June 17th to 19th.
A Shallow westerly wave is expected to approach the western parts of the country, bringing rainfall to Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from June 18th to June 22nd, with intermittent breaks. Heavy rainfall is likely in Kashmir during this period.
Additionally, rainfall is forecasted in the federal capital territory of Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and various districts of Punjab from June 18th to June 22nd.
Southern Punjab, including Bahawalpur and other districts, may experience rainfall accompanied by wind, thundershowers, or dust storms from June 20th to June 22nd.
Balochistan's Quetta, Zhob, Kohlu, Musakhel, Loralai, Sibbi, Naseerabad, Jaffarabad, Dera Bugti, and Barkhan districts are expected to receive rainfall from June 20th to June 22nd.
Isolated rain-thunderstorms and dust storms with gusty winds are anticipated in Sukkur, Jacobabad, Kashmore, and Larkana districts of upper Sindh on June 21st and 22nd.
Coastal districts of Sindh are likely to experience hot and humid weather, while other districts may face searing hot conditions.
