On Sunday, the hockey match between Pakistan and Malaysia in the Asian Champions Trophy ended in a 2-2 draw.

Pakistan, playing at the Moqi Hockey Training Base in Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia, China, was unable to maintain a 2-0 lead. Nadeem Ahmed and Sufyan Khan scored for Pakistan.

Pakistan took the lead thanks to a goal from Sufyan Khan, followed by Nadeem Ahmed's goal in the third quarter, which seemed to secure their advantage. However, Malaysia clawed back with a penalty corner goal and Aiman Rozemi equalized just five minutes before the end.

Pakistan will be disappointed with the result, given their early 2-0 lead. Ammad Butt of Pakistan was named Player of the Match and received a memento and a $200 cheque.
