Mercury to remain between 33-35°C for next three days in Karachi: PMD
1. Met Office forecasts possibility of light rain and drizzle in Jamshoro, Thatta, Badin, Mirpurkhas, Umerkot
KARACHI: After several days of cloudy skies and light to moderate rain, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted a rise in temperatures in Karachi, with the mercury expected to hover between 33°C and 35°C over the next three days.
According to the Met Office, the city’s weather will remain humid in the coming days. There is, however, a chance of drizzling at night and early tomorrow morning, with partly cloudy conditions expected.
This forecast follows an earlier warning from the PMD, advising Karachi residents to prepare for warmer days ahead.
The PMD also noted that the sea breeze will continue in the metropolis, and the weather is expected to stay dry across most of Sindh.
However, light rain and drizzle are possible today in Jamshoro, Thatta, Badin, Mirpurkhas, Umerkot, and several other locations.
