Hina demands collective wisdom, supportive Agri policies

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) senior leader Hina Rabbani Khar emphasized her party's longstanding commitment to advocating for the rights of the neglected segments of society. Speaking to a state-run TV channel in Parliament on Wednesday, she highlighted PPP's responsible role in the country.

Regarding the 2024-25 budget, Khar stated that PPP has called for supportive policies for the agriculture sector. She affirmed the party's support for the government's efforts towards economic and political stability and mentioned that PPP would contribute proposals focused on public welfare issues to the budget. “We will settle the issues with dialogue,” she added.

Khar also mentioned that President Zardari has discussed various strategies to alleviate the economic burden on the poor.
