The 71-year-old *Golden Bachelorette* alum shared her post-surgery recovery update on Instagram Tuesday, revealing details of her recent facelift and CO2 laser treatment. In a joint post with former castmate Susan Noles, Swarts documented her experience with humor and optimism.
“@danyoplasticsurgery, so it’s going to be a great result!” the caption read, accompanied by a clip of Swarts, her head wrapped in bandages, sitting next to Noles, 67, on a couch.
“Here’s my patient,” Noles teased in the video. “She better listen, because now I’ve got to go get her prescription drugs.”
Swarts chimed in, “My ear hurts a little, and I feel a bit burnt here, but it wasn’t that bad.”
“— Yet,” Noles warned. “The CO2 burns are just starting to get red.”
Despite the discomfort, Swarts remained upbeat. “I’m going to think positively, guys. In a few days, I’ll be as good as new.”
The reality star also addressed skeptics who’ve questioned whether she’s had work done: “For everyone saying, ‘Kathy’s hiding something,’ now you know! I did it, and I’m telling the truth.”
Less than 24 hours later, Swarts gave another update in a video showing her swollen face wrapped in bandages. “Halloween costume early! Who am I? In truth, thank you @danyoplasticsurgery!” she joked, referring to the upcoming October 31 celebrations.
Swarts candidly shared her challenges during recovery, including difficulty speaking. “The pain’s not too bad,” she explained. “But two things are bothering me—talking is hard, which is a problem for me. And secondly… is this what they mean by the morning-after pill?” she quipped.
