In a significant move towards modernization, the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has announced its transition to a fully paperless operation through the implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.

This decision supports Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s push for digitizing government institutions to enhance efficiency and streamline operations.

The new ERP system, set to be fully operational soon, will optimize process management, improve data handling, and foster a more sustainable work environment.

As part of the broader e-office initiative led by the Prime Minister, all government officials are now required to handle documentation through the e-office system. The PM Office staff has already completed their training, and a progress report on the e-office implementation is anticipated within the next two weeks.

Earlier, PM Sharif directed the Ministry of Information Technology and other pertinent departments to roll out the e-office system across all government offices. "File work without the e-office system will not be permitted starting next month," the Prime Minister emphasized.
