China visit remained successful, says PM Sharif

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, during a federal cabinet meeting, praised the collective efforts of his team, including federal ministers and secretaries, which contributed to the success of his recent visit to China. He emphasized that the visit was a significant opportunity to bolster Pakistan-China bilateral relations, concluding on a positive note despite security concerns raised during interactions with Chinese leadership and the business community.
Shehbaz Sharif highlighted a particularly successful interaction with the Chinese ambassador at a banquet hosted by the Communist Party Secretary during his visit to Shanxi province. He expressed a strong sense of accomplishment from the visit and thanked key cabinet members, specifically Ishaq Dar, Ahsan Iqbal, Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Dr. Musaddik Malik, and Shaza Fatima Khawaja, along with relevant federal secretaries, for their crucial roles in making the visit successful.
The prime minister also expressed confidence that the collective efforts of his team would ensure the swift and successful execution of the second phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) .
