Ryan Seacrest's feelings on Wheel Of Fortune feedback revealed
1. Ryan Seacrest stepped into Pat Sajak's role in September after the former completed four decades as show host
Ryan Seacrest made headlines last month with his debut as the new host of *Wheel of Fortune*.
The 49-year-old presenter stepped into the role during Season 42 in September, garnering mixed reactions from audiences, with many expressing dissatisfaction over the change.
“Ryan’s a lot more sensitive than people give him credit for,” a source told *Closer Weekly*. “If he thought he could just walk into *Wheel of Fortune* and do things his way, he was mistaken.”
The insider added, “He hates being hated” and suggested that he should seek professional help to navigate the situation.
In addition to *Wheel of Fortune*, Seacrest is balancing his responsibilities with *American Idol* and *On Air with Ryan Seacrest*.
Despite the criticisms, Seacrest's inaugural episode achieved the show's highest opening ratings to date. Moreover, Pat Sajak’s daughter, Maggie, expressed her support for Seacrest, stating that he is "great" and "so professional."
“I’m sure you would assume, but he really appreciates the show and knows how important it is,” Maggie, 29, shared with *Us Weekly* at the iHeartRadio Music Festival on September 21. “You can really tell by how prepared he is and how he treats the contestants and the entire experience,” she added, in light of the backlash from Sajak's fans.
