Pakistani runners put on stellar show at Chicago Marathon 2024

**KARACHI:** Pakistani athletes delivered an outstanding performance at the 2024 Chicago Marathon, competing among more than 50,000 participants.

Leading the charge for Pakistan was Muhammad Amin Nadeem Mukaty, who completed the marathon in an impressive time of 2:44:32, securing 761st place overall and earning the title of the fastest Pakistani in this year's event.

He was followed by Syed Sadiq Hussain Shah, who finished with a time of 2:52:24, and Pakistani-American Nizar Nayani, who clocked in at 2:53:26. Another notable performance came from Shehryar Khursheed, who broke the 3-hour barrier with a time of 2:57:22.

Among the female participants, Sara Tahoor Lodhi was the fastest, finishing the marathon in 3:45:54. She was followed by Semeena Khan, who completed the race in 3:52:47, and Nadia Rehman, who finished with a time of 4:14:44.

The remarkable performances of Pakistani runners at the Chicago Marathon signify a significant milestone for the nation's presence in athletics.
