Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the complexity of the terrorism issue in Pakistan, underscoring the necessity of a collective effort to eradicate it. During his address at the National Action Plan (NAP) Apex Committee meeting, he highlighted the interdependence of economic stability and security, stating that a robust economy cannot be sustained in a terrorism-ridden state.
The meeting, which PM Shehbaz chaired, focused on making critical security decisions, particularly concerning the safety of Chinese workers in Pakistan. High-ranking officials, including Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir, federal ministers, the chief ministers of the four provinces, and all inspector generals of police, were in attendance to discuss and strategize on the pressing security issues facing the nation.
