In 2023, Kim, aged 43, shared a belated Father's Day tribute, recognizing her late father, Robert Kardashian, and her stepfather, Caitlyn Jenner, as the best dads ever. Her post read, "Best to ever do it! I wouldn't be me if it weren't for you two. Thank you. Happy Fathers Day."

The relationship between Kim and Kanye has been strained, particularly regarding disagreements over their children's education, upbringing, and social media usage. Despite these ongoing conflicts, Kim's last public acknowledgment of Kanye's role as a father was in 2022. At that time, she posted a heartfelt message, thanking him "for being the best dad to our babies and loving them in a way you do. Happy Father's Day ye!"
