Monsoon currents to enter in Sindh this evening: Met Office

According to the latest weather report, the first monsoon rain system is expected to enter Karachi on the evening of July 8, potentially bringing the first spell of monsoon rainfall for the current season. 

 Weather Forecast Highlights:
- **Temperature**: 
  - Maximum temperature in Karachi could reach 36°C today.
  - Humidity is at 70%, making the "feel like" temperature around 38°C, which could exceed 40°C.
- **Rainfall**: 
  - Drizzling is expected this evening or night in Karachi.
- **Weather Persistence**: 
  - Hot and humid conditions are likely to continue for the next 24 hours.

 Monsoon Preparations:
- **Advisory for Karachi and Sindh**: 
  - Residents are advised to prepare for potential thunderstorms, strong winds, and lightning as part of the monsoon spell expected to start on July 8.
- **Affected Areas**: 
  - Rainfall is expected across various districts, including Ghotki, Sukkur, Khairpur, Kashmore, Shikarpur, Dadu, and Jacobabad.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has emphasized that monsoon winds could trigger significant rainfall across these regions.
