Lionel Messi reveals greatest football team and it's not Inter Miami

Argentine international Lionel Messi recently revealed his pick for the greatest football team, and surprisingly, it is not David Beckham’s Inter Miami, where the 36-year-old currently plays.
Messi, who has been making headlines in Major League Soccer (MLS) with Inter Miami, has solidified his status as one of the all-time greats. During his 15 appearances, the Argentine World Cup winner scored 14 goals across all competitions.
Now, Messi is preparing for the Copa America, aiming to add another trophy to his collection for Argentina.
When asked about the best football team, the eight-time Ballon d'Or winner told Infobae, "The best team is Real Madrid. If you go by results, Real Madrid is the best."
He further elaborated, "If you go by level of play, I think Pep Guardiola's Manchester City are the best."
Messi played for Barcelona during Pep Guardiola's tenure as manager from 2008 to 2012. He has consistently praised Guardiola, especially after Manchester City's recent successes in the Champions League and Premier League.
Manchester City secured their fourth consecutive Premier League title in May under Guardiola's leadership. Reflecting on Guardiola's achievements, Messi told Titan Sports, "[Guardiola's] the best coach in the world. For me, he didn’t need to win this Champions League to prove it, but it’s an achievement he deserves."
Last month, Real Madrid won their record 15th Champions League title after defeating Borussia Dortmund at Wembley.
