Kate Middleton ‘anxious' as she announces royal return amid Harry, Meghan rift: Insider
1. Kate Middleton is set to return to work as she has entered 'new phase of recovery'
Kate Middleton has shared that she is entering a "new phase of recovery" as she announces her return to royal duties. However, some sources close to the royal family have suggested that she is feeling “anxious” about the “unpredictability” of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's behavior.
With rumors swirling about the Duke of Sussex’s potential reentry into the royal family, Kate and Prince William are preparing for another “potential outburst.”
Heat Magazine reports that while the Prince and Princess of Wales have attempted to distance themselves from Sussex-related issues, Kate’s return to public life makes it impossible to avoid the topic indefinitely.
Despite focusing on her own well-being and family, Kate is determined to not let Harry and Meghan’s actions overshadow her comeback.
Adding to the tension, Kate and William were reportedly taken aback by the increasing closeness between the Sussexes and Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.
Royal expert Tom Quinn told The Mirror, "For William and Kate, the alliance between Harry and Meghan and Beatrice and Eugenie is a significant concern.”
“They worry that Beatrice and Eugenie, feeling like outcasts themselves, see more in common with Harry and Meghan than with the rest of the family.”
Quinn also noted that the situation is compounded by the fact that Kate, the senior royals' main asset, is currently sidelined while undergoing treatment for cancer.
