The delegation will start their review in Rawalpindi, then proceed to Lahore, and conclude their visit in Karachi. Key areas of focus will include practice matches, practice venues, ticketing, and the overall schedule of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
Previously, ICC officials, including pitch consultants, security experts, and event staff, have made separate trips to Pakistan to review the arrangements.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will present a comprehensive report detailing the upgrades and reconstruction of stadiums in preparation for the event. The PCB has allocated Rs12.80 billion for the renovation of Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, Karachi’s National Bank Cricket Arena, and Rawalpindi International Cricket Stadium.
The Champions Trophy, making its return after an eight-year hiatus, was last held in 2017 when Pakistan clinched the title by defeating India in the final. The 2025 tournament is scheduled to run from February 19 to March 9.
