Gold prices see big increase in Pakistan

On Tuesday, the price of 24 karat gold saw a significant increase, rising by Rs.1,900 per tola to reach Rs.241,300, compared to its previous rate of Rs.239,400. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold also experienced an uptick, reaching Rs.189,639 from its previous price of Rs.188,143, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.
In contrast, the prices of silver remained unchanged, with per tola and 10 grams holding steady at Rs.2,750 and Rs.2,357.68, respectively.
This increase in gold prices in the local market reflects a corresponding rise in the international market, where the price of gold surged by $15 to reach $2,307, up from $2,292.
