'Friends' star remembers working with Matthew Perry
1. Adam Goldberg opens up about his experience of sharing the screen with Matthew Perry
The unexpected death of Matthew Perry deeply affected many of his fans, including his *Friends* co-star Adam Goldberg.
In an interview with *The Independent*, Goldberg reflected on their time working together on the iconic sitcom. "When you’re working with someone like Matt, who has such incredible comedy skills, it elevates your own performance," he said. "I remember us joking around a lot and having some really quick repartee."
Goldberg, who played Eddie in the third episode of the second season, expressed his pride in being part of the show's legacy. "I love it. I think about all those guys, and someone like Jennifer Aniston, who has managed to have such an expansive career," he added.
"It’s remarkable because I imagine it must be incredibly challenging to be part of something so insanely popular and not be solely defined by it," Goldberg noted.
In late October of the previous year, Matthew Perry was found dead at his Los Angeles home due to drowning in his hot tub.
