The war of words between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and Governor Faisal Karim Kundi continues to escalate, with Kundi responding to Gandapur's threats by claiming the chief minister won't be able to actualize his fiery speeches.

"Dancing horses do not win races," Governor Kundi remarked to the media, responding to Gandapur's threats against imposing taxes in the province. Kundi, who has a history of verbal clashes with Gandapur, also highlighted various cases against the chief minister, including his alleged involvement in the May 9 riots and the murder of his own provincial minister.

"It's good that the CM himself said that he is not my relative [...] tell me any good thing that he has done [so far]," the governor added.

Kundi's comments follow CM Gandapur's pledge on Saturday to resist the imposition of taxes in the Malakand Division. "You'll come on your own feet and leave on shoulders," he declared during a public gathering in Swat. Gandapur also vowed to "hang" those who have violated the Constitution, stating, "[I] swear to God, you will not be able to live in Pakistan, let alone Islamabad."

Gandapur challenged those who filed "fake cases" against jailed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan to come forward. Naming Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and President Asif Zardari, the KP CM urged the crowd to identify those responsible for the alleged victimization of the PTI.

"We will have to hold them accountable for each day. We are silent just because of the PTI founder," he emphasized, adding that the former premier represents an "ideology" that cannot be erased from the minds and hearts of the people by "illegal" tactics.

"If the opposing party thinks that the PTI workers could be forced to leave PTI, then it is their miscomprehension," Gandapur asserted.

Highlighting his administration's efforts, the chief minister reassured that the KP government would continue to facilitate the people by providing health, education, and sports facilities.
