Raven Symoné, known for her role in *That's So Raven*, recently shared her thoughts on whether she would allow her child to enter the entertainment industry at a young age.
The 38-year-old actress, who has been in showbiz since the age of three, exclusively told E! News that she would not permit her child to pursue acting until reaching a certain age. “I would never let my child go into the entertainment industry before the age of 17,” she stated, adding, “Enjoy the anonymity first, take some classes, and then we can get into it.”
Raven, who gained fame from the Disney show that aired in 2003, also addressed a recent headline about an episode focusing on body positivity, where she was asked to appear slimmer. When asked if CGI was used in one scene to enhance her appearance, she clarified, “This was before CGI. They would actually take the film and stretch it.”
She acknowledged that there were discussions regarding her weight to create a thinner look.
In addition, while discussing her new role as the host of the game show *Scrabble*, Raven expressed that it’s the best decision she’s ever made.
