'Bridgerton' creators boost up their budget for fourth season: Report
1. 'Bridgerton' creators decided to boost up their finances and pulled a huge mock-up of Bath's iconic Royal Crescent for the fourth season
The creators of *Bridgerton* have gone all out for the eagerly awaited fourth season, constructing a detailed replica of one of the show’s major landmarks at a studio in West London.
Previously, the show was known for filming at iconic locations like the Royal Crescent in Bath. For the new episodes, however, they’ve built an extensive mock-up of this landmark at Shepperton Studios in Surrey.
According to the Daily Mail, this shift to studio sets will simplify production by eliminating the need to close off significant locations. Additionally, the investment in these sets is expected to attract more A-list talent, with producers backing the project with the same financial commitment seen in their high-profile series *The Crown*.
The Sun noted, "This substantial investment in a new set for Bridgerton’s fourth season indicates that there may be many more seasons to come. It's reminiscent of the commitment Netflix made to *The Crown*, which included building replicas of landmarks like Downing Street and Buckingham Palace, and the series ultimately ran for six seasons."
Aerial images of the new set reveal a full-scale replica of the Royal Crescent, which will serve as the Featherington residence backdrop in the upcoming season.
