Artem Chigvintsev reveals financial devastation following arrest
1. Artem Chigvintsev reveals shocking financial fallout from arrest, blaming Nikki Garcia
In court documents, Chigvintsev stated, "It’s untrue that I haven’t been able to find work as a dancer. I usually start jobs in November that run for 20 weekends. After my arrest and mugshot resulting from her false claims, I was removed from the faculty list on the website, costing me over $100K in income."
He also noted, "I lost income from social media promotions, which she continues to benefit from. She was more concerned about her career when she lied to the police than about mine."
Chigvintsev further claimed that his wife, Gracia, is the one with "anger issues" and said he tries to "stay quiet and avoid it" when "she yells."
He alleged that Gracia "was the one who attacked me. The claims that I was increasingly angry, snapping, and yelling are false. I did not act violently toward her or grab or yell at her."
To clarify, Chigvintsev was arrested on August 29, 2024, in Yountville, California, on domestic violence charges.
That same month, Gracia filed for divorce and requested sole custody of their 4-year-old son, Matteo, but the court denied her request.
Chigvintsev is now asking Gracia to cover his legal fees and rent, citing lost income and restraining orders issued without sufficient evidence after he was "kicked out of the home."
