Armie Hammer wishes to 'win back credibility' amid cannibalism controversy

Armie Hammer is looking to make a comeback after facing allegations of abuse and cannibalism.
In an interview with Tyler Ramsey on the Painful Lessons podcast, Hammer discussed the accusations and his struggles with self-hatred following the fallout with loved ones. "I never was in a place where I was happy with myself, where I had self-esteem; I never knew how to give myself love," he shared.
Elfie, with whom Hammer had a four-year affair while married to Elizabeth Chambers, accused him of mental, emotional, and sexual abuse, which he denied, insisting that all interactions were consensual.
Additionally, Courtney Vucekovich and Julia Morrison, both exes of The Lone Ranger star, revealed in the House of Hammer documentary that Hammer shared texts and audios expressing cannibalistic fantasies.
While Hammer was investigated, the LAPD found insufficient evidence to charge him. Despite admitting to being emotionally abusive in some relationships and acknowledging a power imbalance, Hammer expressed a desire to "win back credibility," according to PEOPLE.
