**LONDON:** Oxford University has excluded former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan from its list of approved candidates for the position of chancellor.

The university has listed nearly 40 candidates whose nominations have been accepted. Khan, who submitted his application for the role, is currently imprisoned. A prominent UK legal firm has indicated that he is ineligible for the Oxford Chancellorship due to the university's regulations.
