Adam Brody, Leighton Meester open up about navigating ‘each other's' business

Adam Brody and his wife, Leighton Meester, are deeply collaborative and supportive of each other's careers. 

In a September 16 appearance on Dax Shepard’s *Armchair Expert* podcast, Brody shared, "Everything goes through each other." He elaborated, "We are each other’s managers and share the same two agents. We’re involved in each other’s work, and we even did a movie together a few years ago.”

Brody likely referred to projects like the 2023 adventure film *River Wild*, which features two brothers on a white-water rafting trip. The couple has also worked together on the 2014 romantic comedy *Life Partners* and the ABC sitcom *Single Parents*.

Brody also discussed how they approach scripts, noting, "Leighton is charmingly aloof to the business side. She might not even know Seth Rogen’s name, but that’s what’s great—it doesn’t affect her artistry.” He praised her unique perspective, saying, “She has an outsider’s quality and a deep, poetic understanding of material that’s always enlightening. She can grasp the essence of a script effortlessly, while I handle the practical details.”
