Two dengue cases were reported in Lahore on Saturday after a drizzling in the city.
According to details, apart from the dengue cases, the citizens had to face a power outage following the drizzling on Friday, which turned the weather in the provincial capital pleasant.
The power supply in the city was limited to 3,500 megawatts (MW).
Meanwhile, Saddar, Dharampura, Mustafabad, Harbanspura, Kot Lakhpat, and Garden Town witnessed load shedding.
– PDMA warns against monsoon season –
Separately, Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Director General Salman Shah on Saturday warned the concerned authorities against the monsoon season in Karachi.
According to details, the Karachi commissioner had held a meeting of the concerned departments in line with the monsoon season. The rainfall is expected to happen more than before.
Expressing his thoughts on the occasion, "Rainfall of more than 100 percent is expected in the current year from July to August," Shah said.
He said: "29 out of 198 slope areas are sensitive in Karachi."
The Karachi commissioner had asked the concerned authorities to prepare an emergency plan in line with the potential torrential rainfall in the capital city of Sindh.
