1. Tia Mowry spilled beans about her life after divorce and happiness being a choice ahead of her new 'We TV' series
Tia Mowry is embracing her journey as a single mom in her new We TV docuseries, *Tia Mowry: My Next Act*.
According to People, We TV recently shared a first look at Mowry’s return to television, showcasing her life as she prepares her daughter Cairo for a drop-off at her ex-husband Hardrict’s house.
In a confessional, Mowry reflected, “It’s been about a year and a half since my divorce, and I’m slowly learning who I am.” She and the *Divorce in the Black* actor were married from 2008 until 2023. Along with Cairo, they share a son, Cree, who Mowry mentions “didn’t feel comfortable” appearing on camera.
Talking about her twin sister Tamera, Tia shared, “I came into this world with a twin. Right after that, I entered a 22-year relationship, so I’ve never really been alone.”
As they prepared to head to Hardrict’s house, Tia became emotional, expressing, “One of the hardest things I’ve had to adapt to is dropping my kids off at their dad’s house. I always envisioned a family dynamic with both parents under one roof, and seeing that visually shift is tough.”
Later in the teaser, Tia, who acknowledges her growing distance from Tamera, meets up with her friend Natasha Marc to discuss how her relationship is portrayed in the media.
Mowry added, “I feel vulnerable right now, but it’s the first time I realize I have a choice. I can speak my mind, be myself, and choose to be happy.”
The eight-episode series is executive produced by Tia, Adam Griffin, and Erin Richard, along with executives from Jesse Collins Entertainment. *Tia Mowry: My Next Act* is set to premiere on October 4 on AMC.
