Prince Harry Reunites with Danish Royals at Invictus Games

Prince Harry was all smiles as he reunited with Prince Joachim of Denmark and his wife, Princess Marie, during the Invictus Games in Vancouver.

While the Duke of Sussex may not have had his own family present at the event, the Danish royal couple showed their support, cheering on the competitors.

Arriving on Friday, Prince Joachim and Princess Marie met with Danish teams participating in rowing and volleyball before joining them for dinner. The following day, they attended a volleyball match, where they were finally reunited with Harry. The trio was seen engaged in conversation as they watched the game together.

This marked Prince Harry’s first meeting with the Danish royals since 2017, when they visited a military training center in Copenhagen.

Although Prince Harry founded the Invictus Games in 2014, the event initially received support from Prince William, Kate Middleton, and King Charles through the Royal Foundation. However, none of the British royals have attended this year’s games or publicly extended their support to Harry.

It remains to be seen whether the situation will change for the next Invictus Games, set to be held in Birmingham.
