**Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Visits Injured Soldiers in Quetta, Vows to Continue Fight Against Terrorism**

QUETTA: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif visited injured security personnel at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) on Monday, paying tribute to their bravery and unwavering commitment to protecting the nation. The soldiers were wounded during anti-terror operations in Kalat and other districts of Balochistan.

During his visit, the Prime Minister emphasized that the enemies of peace, development, and prosperity in Balochistan would never succeed. “The evil intentions of those who seek to destabilize Balochistan will be thwarted by the courage and determination of our armed forces,” he stated.

Interacting with the injured soldiers, PM Shehbaz praised their sacrifices and resilience. “You are the nation’s heroes. The entire country, including myself, is proud of you and your families, who embody the spirit of sacrifice,” he said. He added that as long as Pakistan is defended by such brave soldiers, the enemy’s malicious designs will never prevail.

The Prime Minister reiterated that the Pakistani armed forces and the people stand united in the fight against terrorism. “The elements spreading terror in Balochistan are enemies of the province’s progress. Our security forces are working tirelessly to eliminate these threats,” he said.

Accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Information and Broadcasting Minister Ataullah Tarar, and Power Minister Owais Leghari, PM Shehbaz also chaired a meeting on the law and order situation in Quetta. He called for national unity in the fight against terrorism, stressing that this is not a time for division or politics but for collective efforts to ensure peace.

Paying tribute to the sacrifices of security personnel, the Prime Minister expressed confidence that Pakistan would become a haven of peace. “Our brave soldiers are shedding their blood for the nation, and we salute their sacrifices. The entire nation stands in solidarity with them,” he said.

PM Shehbaz condemned terrorists as enemies of Balochistan’s development, stating that they seek to deprive the people of prosperity, education, and employment. However, he affirmed that the government’s resolve to develop Balochistan remains unshaken. “Cowardly acts of terror will not deter us from our mission to bring progress and prosperity to Balochistan,” he declared.

Highlighting the government’s efforts, the Prime Minister mentioned initiatives such as special quotas for Balochistan students in agricultural training programs in China, the solarization of agricultural tube wells, and youth empowerment programs like the Prime Minister’s Laptop Scheme. He also expressed satisfaction with the progress on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and the operationalization of Gwadar Airport, which he said would enhance Pakistan’s role as a regional hub.

PM Shehbaz expressed deep sorrow over the recent tragedy in Kalat, where 18 soldiers were martyred and 23 terrorists were killed. He assured that under the leadership of the Chief of Army Staff and the Chief Minister of Balochistan, the armed forces would continue their efforts to ensure peace in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which is vital for the country’s development.

The Prime Minister commended the high morale of the soldiers and law enforcement agencies, stating that they remain fully committed to defending the nation. He also paid tribute to the martyrs and their families, offering his complete solidarity. “The injured soldiers told me they have no regrets, even if parts of their bodies are damaged, as they sacrificed for a greater cause. They are ready to lay down their lives again if needed,” he shared.

The meeting was attended by Governor of Balochistan Sheikh Jaffar Mandokhail, Chief Minister Mir Sarfarz Bugti, federal and provincial ministers, and senior officials, who reaffirmed their commitment to a peaceful and prosperous Balochistan.
