Lady Gaga appeared in style for 'The Joker: Folie à Deux' premiere

Lady Gaga showcased her bold fashion sense on Monday, channeling her Harley Quinn character at the Los Angeles premiere of *The Joker: Folie à Deux*.

The 38-year-old entertainer stars in the highly anticipated film alongside Joaquin Phoenix, who accompanied her on the red carpet. The movie, a follow-up to Phoenix's 2019 hit *Joker*, is directed by Todd Phillips and will hit theaters on October 4, with an international release on October 2.

For the premiere, held at the iconic TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, Lady Gaga made a striking appearance in a black gown with dramatic satin short sleeves. According to the *Daily Mail*, she completed the look with bleached eyebrows and a fiery red wig as she walked the red carpet solo.

A month before the film's release, Phoenix praised Gaga for her dedication to the role, calling her preparation "impressive." During a press conference at the Venice Film Festival, where he discussed his own physical transformation for *Joker*, Phoenix noted, "Stefani also lost a lot of weight. I remember when I first met you in rehearsals, and then you went away for a month, and when you came back, you had lost a lot of weight."
