**ISLAMABAD:** All political parties, including the opposition, have reached a consensus on establishing a constitutional bench, following a retreat by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) regarding the constitutional court, sources familiar with the situation reported.
Originally focused on the constitutional court, discussions have now progressed to the establishment of a constitutional bench, as stated in a Geo News report on Thursday.
After high-level negotiations, leaders from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the PPP announced that an agreement had been achieved among all political factions concerning the formation of the constitutional bench.
